the Icat just bypasses a resistor in the spark plug cap...heres an article from KR
Okay guy's, here is a disected KFX 700 plug connector.
I remove it from the boot via a 5/16" punch. cut it down oppisite sides with a thin-cut wheel. inserted a screwdiver into one of the slots I cut, and separated the two halves. The little gray piece with the silver ends at the bottom of the pic, is the resistor that was between the two brass pieces. The small piece of alumunum rod with the flatened ends, is the piece I'm inserting between the two brass pieces whe I JB WELD the assy. together again. The uluminum rod is 1/8". I flattened the ends so it would fit tight in the two brass pieces. The bottom pic has the aluminum rod re-inserted and ready to JB WELD.
Got them JB welded together today and back in the boots.
