LT250R Carb Tuning Help
#1
I picked my quadracer up from my parents house this weekend, and it hasn't been run in about a year. I started it up the other day (started in like 2 kicks), but after I was riding for a couple minutes it loaded up and died. I was just curious if anyone knew a good starting point for tuning the main needle on the carb? I thought it was turn it the whole way in, then back it off 2 full turns, but I can't remember. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

did you drop the old fuel out of bowl? if not that could be an issue. and the air screw your talking about has to do with your pilot jet not your main jet. on the air screw i back it out til the idle stopps picking up and thats where i leave it. about 1 1/2 turns out is where mines set. if you find yourself 1/2 turn out id try next size smaller pilot if ya find yourself 3 turns out id try next size bigger. good luck
