Default 2004 Vinson

I was looking at ATVs today and am planning on buying my first one soon. The dealer I went to today has a 2004 Vinson leftover for 5700. He told me it would be about 800 for winch & plow on top of that. It is black and has the extra heavy duty rack & bumpers on it. Is this a good price or to much?
Thanks

IMHO, I think that it overpriced. My 06 auto was stickered for about $6300 (without any dickering) and with a Warn winch.
I could nave bought an 05 auto with 200 miles, a winch and a front bumper for $5400.

If it were $5700 OTD including the winch and plow, then that may be worth thinking about.

NOT a good deal. You can find a 06 for that price, is that OTD (out the door price after tt&l)? You can get an 06 for $5359 sticker price up in NY. Then add TTL. if ya file farm use, if NY has that option, then you pay no tax. so your looking at about $5600 OTD. I bought my vinnie when i lived in NY, and payed $5614 OTD, most other dealers wanted at least $6400.

That did not include tax or any extras. This is why the forums are so good. I have never bought an ATV and have no idea what a good price is or not. It does have extra heavy bumper racks but that is it. They seemed overpriced on KQ too. 7200 for 06 camo + tax and all. No extras like winch or anything either. I will be checking other places out. Am considering a 2004 450 kodiak or 2005 400 cat that are for sale locally. any info on either of these rides?

I just bought a leftover 05 KQ for 6900 OTD. I could have got an 06 for about the same, and an 05 for $6400 OTD if I wanted to drive a little. But decided not too. Now im thinking I was stupid, I could of saved $500 to drive about 2.5 hours. one way. But to me i guess saving the 5 hours round trip was worth the extra $500, im getting lazy these days!

Where do ya live in NY , if your anywhere near Troy City / Albany you could get that 06 for $5359 stickered. Thats a good deal!

I live in Utica, NY about an hour and a half from Albany. I grew up about 40 minutes from Albany. Was the sticker price for the basic model or does it have a winch? What dealer? Thanks!

Go to troycitygarage.com, take a look! Im not an employee of them or know anyone that works there, so nobody try to gig me on posting a dealer net address, just a good priced dealer in NY people should know about.

Thanks so much for the info. The website and prices are quite impressive. Now I have to decide what I am catually going to buy. Guess it depends on what I like best when I test drive them. The dealer you listed sells everything I'm considering so that is a very good thing. Thanks again!
