How about the 400ex or the predator, or possibly the outlaw with irs. Also i have a friend that has an '05 kfx400 and says that you dont have to use the clutch every time you shift, for example second- third, or third-fourth. He says you only need to use it when you are going from neutral to 1st. Or while engaging reverse. Last is the reverse tricky on the z400.

Sorry guys typo LT-R450 http://www.suzukicycles.com/Products...6/Default.aspx

We just picked up the new one last night and began tearing it down to race this weekend. We had seen the differences on the 450 on another bike some one had but after pulling the plastics there were some MAJOR upgrades to the frame. It is wider, seems to sit lower and looks built to race, extend a-arms, fully adjustable shocks, etc. We will see how it handles this weekend.

Anyone know of potential problems. We heard about the washer on the bottom not being fully welded, not really sure what it is for the rider told me, so we will fix that. But if anyone knows of anything please let me know.

Gusset up that rear shock mount. There's been a few reports of the frame breaking there.

Your friend's kfx 400 is the sister bike to the Z400. See if he will let you ride it for awhile. If you like it the two bike's are Idenacal except for color. The Z has A better suspention then the EX. And know reverse is not hard to use. I have heard of people not useing the clutch and I have done it by accident once in awhile don't seem to hurt anything. Yet the clutch is there for A reason.
