Default Fixing to buy an Eiger.

Im gonna try to buy an Eiger in a few days. How long should it take to get it broke in, and do I need to be Easy on it until it gets broke in. Do I have to get the valves adjusted when it gets broke in??

Eiger is a good choice! I bought my 02 in nov, 01 -- It has been great! Recomended break in is around 100 miles, Then Oil change! I didn't adjust my valves until 200 miles and the motor has been great!

1 thing I would do right away is put an inline fuel filter on -- these carbs don't like any dirt!

Hope you enjoy your eiger like I do mine --- 2,500 miles so far

Great choice. Like Rags1317 said the break in is 100 miles, I did not need to get my valves adjustes to way after that. I do agree put an inline fuel filter ( about $3 ) and I would updrade the skid plates. The plastic ones are fine for a while but is you wheel hard get the metal ones. It is is a fun atv, good luck!

Nice machines...won't let you down. Get a fuel filter, and I never adjusted the valves till 1000 miles....they will make noise...that tells you they're out of adjustment

i'm probably going to look at it tomorrow.

would $4500 be a good price?
