I am picking up the z400 on friday! i am so excited, it has a uni air filter and it is jetted, does it gain a lot from a good pipe? or does it not really need one, it is a 2004, like 80 hours. Anything i should look for when i go to see it?

A pipe and filter really woke up my 04' Z400. I recommend it, you get good gains without sacrificing reliabilty.

Make sure to re-jet afterwwards. You might want to look into a K&N powerlid or a simular one for more airflow. The pipe work much better with one of those.
