Can't seem to get my stock 03 carb to idle right so I bought an 05 model carb. Did they change them since 03? I was told they did but want to make sure.

it might not be a carb problem. the 03 had some problems with the fuel petcock plugging up a little. try cleaning it
and the 05 should work on the 03 you just dont need the TPS. and you might have to rejet it

Runs fine with the choke on but dies when I turn it off. Cleaned the carb 3 times and took out the needle and all the jets and cleaned all them. I havent tried the petcock but I am up for anything. Keep 'em comming guys thanks..!!

check the intake, it might have a leak run it at an idol enough to keep it running then spray carb cleaner or water in intake fittinngs if the motor changes sounds or dies, it is a leak,
