Both are great quads, but go with the kingquad you will love the EFI. If you can try to find some one that owns one and see if you can take it for a spin. I love my Eiger but have driven a friends King and would jump on getting one if I didn't have a baby on the way.

Between these two the brute has a good bit more power but the king has better suspension. The brute has arm stretching power and with a module or aftermarket cdi it is hard to keep the front tires on the ground. The king has good power but just not in the same class however it's suspension is far superior to the brute. If you want the best suspension and power avaliable in a big bore 4x4 then as of right now the bombardier 800 outlander is the top dog. Very very strong powerplant and absolutely the best suspension avaliable right now. But the down side is the price. The outlander 800 is the top dog in performance but it's also the highest priced of all the big utes out there.

I have to agree with the V-Twin power being alot more than the single. I have kawis 650 V-Twin in my quad, and its powerful enough stock. But i threw a few mods into it, and dam*, this thing moves!!

I have a 06 king and I am satisfied with it but it is missing that other lung. One cyl. and 700cc. just isn't the right combo. When you ride with V-twin quads your always behind them. the handeling is great and the 4X4 is great.

I wonder if Suzuki will finally go to a twin sometime soon?

Since your upgrading for the purpose to get more power then you really might like the BF 750 better than the KQ 700. It's considerably faster in acceleration & more powerful than a KQ 700, and rightly so since it has 50cc more and it's a V-twin. If your looking for hard hitting power that's one thing my KQ has always lacked....
Now if you can, test drive the both of these machines and decide for yourself..don't just go by power alone check the suspension and handling, b/c some people have gotten the BF 750 sold it for the KQ 700 for the better handling. Also the EFI on my KQ provides for excellent cold starting and excellent gas mileage----something the BF 750 severely lacks.
But don't get me wrong about the power thing, the KQ's capable of 72mph and it's no slouch..it's just that 750 V-twin has some incredible power.

dmented, welcome to the forums. What types of riding do you do and what kinds of terrain? Do you value a good handling machine or do you just want straight-line power and nothing else?

I have to add here that the KQ gets much better mileage.
