Wow I can't believe they folded. I'm impressed with Suzuki for taking the bullet. Of course now for all of us with Kawasaki's, or A-Cats will have to wait to see if it flows over to them also.

Not to mention the people who already installed the aluminum case out of pocket, I wonder if we'll be getting reimbursed?

hey ss97
im susspecting your kfx is much faster and tourqier than the 350 your wife rides right?
well, (off topic) my freidn has a raptor 350 ... and he thinks its the greatest thing in the world.. haha
he thinks its ebtter than a z in every aspect but i susspect i can show him wrong, no?
i've heard they arent that good.

anyways
dealer i called said they havent had any come in yet after the recall came out but they said they would do it on mine but would have to order parts. guess i wont be riding .. lol

yellow

The Raptor 350 is a nice little machine, my wife loves it. But in the power department its not even close to my KFX. Of course both machines are 100% stock.

The Raptor has enough power to get the job done for it's chassis, and it's a decent sport machine. But the z400 is in another class really, Suzuki designed the thing to win MX and XC Nationals. Yamaha was really only designing the Raptor350 to be a fun trail machine to compete with the 300ex's of the world. IMO it's much better than the 300ex but still behind the 400ex in most areas. And IMO the z400 is still that much better than the 400ex.

So unless your friend has a seriously modified Raptor350, I'd tell him to wear a good roost protector when he rides with you.
