Default power chip for z400???..

only thing i know of is the rev boxes that raise the limit.

what would a chip do to the z400? it has NO efi, no cpu-controlled components like tranny shift points, air /fuel mixture, etc like modern cars do. correct me if i am wrong....

he may be confusing the stuff you can get for the LTR-450R like the cherry bomb plug in module (i guess you could call it a chip) and the other stuff that yoshi sells for that bike that changes the fuel mapping and stuff for the EFI system.

there's a couple of CDI boxes out there that are programmable. Dyna CDI is one of them and cant remember the other and all they do is raise the rev limit and let you change the timing curve to what you like
thats the only chip that I know off

There isn't a 'chip' for the Z. It's the CDI box.... Dynatec makes great box's but there is also Yoshi & Procom to name a few. I myself bought the Dynatec programable box and have had no problems at all.
