My King Quad cranks but won't turn over. I try ro start it, give a little gat and it turns over twice and than clicks away like the battery is going out.
Is it the starter, battary or something else? An how do I fix it. Suzuki 1999 King Quad 300 ATV

you need to do some more digging.

charge the battery,
check the postive and negative leads for good connections
make sure it's good fuel
good spark?

engines need fuel, air, spark and time.

 

I charged the battary twice. The second time it appears to have started OK It may be the battery on it's way out. At least i know it isn't the starter

Also check to make sure all of your wiring is ok. My Z250 was doing the same thing and the problem progressively became worse. It turned out my ground wire was loose and shorting everything out.
