I just bought a z400 my old bike i used to use eagle one dry way but that was a honda foreman utility bike. i have used aluminum polish for my nerf bars and the bike looks showroom condition except for the plastics what wax should i use to protect it from the sun and give it that really good looking shine.

you can buy a plastic cleaner and polish from your local bike shop. the dealers use it to clean the bikes after they have worked on it
I know because I have some, its less than $10 a can

Zymol...
I use it on my Black Z400 Plastics.. It obviously wont take out deeper scratches but it will take out swirls and keep the plastic looking like glass.

What irritates me is!
Those 6-packs work pretty good.

I use maxima brand SC1 high gloss silicone detailer. It is in a spray can. You spray it on and kinda buff it dry. It makes the plastic really shine and it will not attract dust. I highly recommend it. I even use it to detail the insides of my cars and under the hood. Great stuff!

I use eagle on NanoWax first, it takes our some swirl marks, and little tiny scratches, and then i use the SC1 Spray for a final sine. the Spray is amazing. I just used to Wax to for UV protection and it seems to help keep the color of the plastic from fading.

I don't know if this is in the same league you guys are, but I use STP Son of a Gun after I wash it off and that stuff really makes her glossy! Slippery too, so be lenient with it on the seat and grips. Bad thing is, it will kind of attract dust on the rides, but the upside to that is it makes it much easier to wash off next time as everything kind of slides off.
