Hello All..
I have been into ATV's mostly all my life I'de rode quite a few. Some I love, some I hate. My friend is in the USCG and he recently bought a 2004 Grizzly 660. Which I am borrowing until he get back into town. This machine is a monster. I however cannot afford a machine of this caliber. I've had my eye in a smaller and just as capable machine.
There is a 1995 and a 1999 Suzuki K.Q. For around $2000 & $2500. I have looked over both machine drove them and ran through the gear and speed ranges. Everything is smooth as silk. Now, the kicker is..the older machine has 770 miles. The 1999 model has 2400. The older one is going for $2000 even. I know there was very little changes within these years. Cosmetic changes were made to my knowlegde. So these 2 machines whould be mechanically identical, correct?
I like the K.Q. because of it's enormous range of speed and range choices. I do plan on upgrading it when I get it. The main focus would be on tires and maybe perhaps a lift kit. The terrain around my home gets pretty crazy. The Grizzly has a full skid set and M/T Titan 589's 26"s. It'll climb anything I put in front of it.
I am looking for some aftermarket choices for the K.Q.
Thank You.
