You have to unbolt the water pump to get the stock pipe out, and then its still a pain but it works. that what the instructions said on my Youshi system.

The pipe is a yoshimura full stainless, I am planning on rejetting when jet kit arrives in a couple of days. The pipe install went great, changed it in about an hour. It sounds better, but not quite loud enough, the spark arrestor actually seems to be smaller than stock. If I remove the spark arrestor it seems too loud. Does anyone know if they make spark arrestors with different size openings?
