Default Eiger Air Filter

Is there a better air filter system for the Eiger than the stock one? Not too impressed with having to wash it in kerosene, etc. Thought I heard mention of a K & N filter system for it but don't know much about those filters. We are not into racing, just pleasure riding. Any suggestions?

I have a K&n on my truck, ozark, and ds 650 and love them since they never go bad and all you have to do is instead on the kerosine crap you everyone and a while when its dirty take it out and there is a cleanign kit. You spray the degreaser or whatever youy want to call it on and let it sit then spray it with water then let iot dry and spray the oil that is also included in the kit on it. The kit is seperate from the airfilter but K&n is well worth the money no matter how much.

I have a Uni. You can wash it with foam filter cleaner....$21. You can get a K&N for around $50+ for the Eiger if I recall. Depending on your riding conditions, either is good.

I have a uni, I ride in dusty places alot living in Az. I have a K&N on my truck but could not see spending $50 on one for my atv. The uni works great IMO, it is really what you prefer, I like the foam.

I ride in alot of mud so i just use the foam filter. and the best way i found to clean it is oxi-clean. just put it in the sink with hot water and it looks like new. then i use the k&n air filter spray.

K&N is around 50 bucks, but to me it was well worth it.
