Hello. This is my first post. I recently bought my first ATV - Suzuki 250cc Ozark. I've put about 8 hours on it now. My only complaint is that my right hand gets all numb after 10-15 minutes of riding. I don't think I'm gripping the handle too hard. My left hand is OK. Is it me or is this a regular porblem for ATVers? If I'm the problem, how can you guys help me remedy this? Thanks for your input.

 

same thing happened with me. After only like 15 min my thumb would be completly numb, but after i went on a few rides and "broke in" my thumb, it didn't do it anymore. Your thumb probably just isn't used to it yet.

 

Sounds like you need to go to a medical forum. (JK) My thumb goes numb after awhile also when riding long periods on very long straight paths

 

its normal for beginners, after about a month of constant riding, you hand will probably get used it, meanwhile, when you hand goes numb, eating a banana is known to help unnumb hands
