Basically I am going to sell my 88 quadracer on ebay . I decided that I would part it out because I figured I would get more money for it that way. The quad is not 100% complete. When it comes to the motor I am not to sure to sell it as a whole or piece it out. It needs a new water pump bearing and possibly a clutch basket. Other than that, it has a fresh bore, new crank , bearings and seals. Has a Cool Head, boysen reeds and new gaskets etc. Anyways I just wanted to see if anyone had any experience selling their quad as a whole or piecing it out. Any help, opinions, or tips would be nice. thanks

 

I would sell the motor complete and detail out what you know it needs. Sell off everything else in pieces 1 front caliper, 1 front spindle, etc.....
I bought an 86 racer that wouldn't start a couple years ago and sold piece by piece on ebay, worked out to be around $500 profit and a little time.
