hey do any of u guys kno how fast u can make a z250 go like with every perforemance part u can put on it how fats can it go?????

 

damm are all ur z250's that slow that u cant say nutting ???

 

ur not going to change top end speeds unless u buy a different cdi thay gives u more rpms but that wont give u but about 4 more mph, another way to help top end is to buy 22' rear tires but since u have a shaft instead of a chain so u cant change sprockets so it will kill ur torque. i used to have one of these but i got tired of being under powered so i got a Z400 and now i can change sprockets and stuff. A z250 is a reliable quad but just not a lot to do to them.

If you're looking to go fast you should look into something like a Z-400 or LTR-450, don't get me wrong the Z-250 is a great machine but it set up more for the novice rider or someone who just likes to putz around on trails or in the snow.

 

i kno its a great bike but idk wen ima get enough money 2 get a z400 or ltr-450 those r the bikes im lookin ta but they soo expensive so i just wanna c how fats ppl have made their z250's

 

yeah theres not much u can do to em to make em much faster..i have a white bros E2 exhaust and uni filter, this helped with acceleration but not much with top end...my dad paced me in his truck and i was goin around 50. there is a thread on here called "z250" and i guess someone made a high comp piston, cams, and a cdi if u wanna check that out

 

hey thorrider guy how is the ltr-450 is it fast and how does it perform???

 

I know they've got one in the developemental stages, but BPE is working on a system that should give it the most boost of any exhaust system yet.
