okay, so I rebuilt the engine, and since putting it back together Ive had it running twice. Both times she decided not to idle but ran ok throught the rpm range. So i decided to make the biggest mistake of my lifel. And played with the carb. Now, all i can get is fouled spark plugs from trying to start it, and every once and a while a shotgun blast out the muffler. Also I changed the needle valve/seat, and cleaned out the carb and it still seems to be running rich.
If anyone has any suggestions to get this damned thing running it would be appreciated.

check the flywheel woodrif key . the half moon shaped piece the goes in the crank and hold the flywheel . sometimes the slip out when you put on the flywheel . the nut will hold it for so long the it will spin . that has happened to me several times .
