I want your guys opinion on whether a piped lt250 would be close to a piped banshee.

 

PROLLY. A banshee is not all that fast stock. And remember, its a yamaha. Noting to worry about.

 

Probably close but the banshee will still be faster. But my quadracer would kill all my quads its was extremely Fast But it had alot of money in it. and its was just a Suzuki nothing to worrie about right?LTZGUY . go RIde your utilty starter quad with sport plastics

your just mad cause you have a yamahack. go kick start your useless quad. i mean really, whats a banshee for? its not a good trail bike. i guess if all you like to do is drag race its kool. to me there is more to atving than that.....maybe thats why they are killing the banshee.....cause its useless....buy hey, thanks anyway.

 

First, If we are just talking adding pipes to both, I would still place my wager on the Banshee. An '87 LT would probably be closest, and the '85/6 models don't have much of a chance either way. Now the 250's can be built like mentioned above to spank a mildly built Banshee, but you definately have to get some internal work done.

Hmmmm yes well, first off Yamaha is not "killing the Banshee." They are just not being sold in the US anymore. You can buy a new 2007 model, but you will have to go to Canada or Mexico. We all can thank the tree huggers and EPA for this.

Give me a break LTZGUY, you obviously have never ridden an atv with more power than your z250. When I had my 90, I used to think it could take some bigger atv's like yours( ...which accually I did a few times in a 100 ft drag 2/3 times and on tight trails ). But now that I have my lt250r, I relize that that 90 was a peice and it could only beat the $h!tt!est of ATV's. You think your quad is the best because its yours and you most likely ride alone and havent been spanked yet. A banshee could own you in every catagory, except in a reverse race. I mean if it was such a useless atv then why has yamaha been making them for almost 20 years?

You wish you had a banshee.
