ok the 581 is together. it still needs adjustments to the jetting (main and pilot jets)...and actually the motor might come back out b/c we are getting very little water in the oil and no idea why....I'm still waiting for my quiet core for the hmf pipe and I can't believe how loud it is!! Also the starter has a hard time turning it over, has anybody needed to replace it? After a year and half its finally coming together! I blew the motor with under 60 hours on it!!! next I'm looking into a clutch kit...any input on what you have and how you like it?
thanx guys!

Glad to see we have a parts tester j/k. Let us know how it goes. I heard there were some overheating issues with the 581 kit. Hopefully you will have good luck.

oh wow I haven't heard anything about overheating...actually I haven't heard much at all about the big bore.... I don't know how fast it should be either. I needed so many parts when I blew the motor, it seemed like the right thing to do...make it bigger!! I don't think anybody on here is very familiar with the big bore kit....I'll let everyone know how it goes!!!
