wheel spacers .vs. extended a-arms and axle
#2
a- arms and an axle would handle much better and also much stronger. if you are doing anything but flat track racing go the expensive way. spacers work ok for small flat track but not good for jumping. in the front my opinion is they are dangerous

I might try spacers in the rear, but you can get a gforce axle for like 199,and they are freaking awesome. I have a set of full flight +2 a arms that sell for like 350 and i have literaly beat the holy ever loving crap out of them and they have held up just fine, and if you ride a newer bike you can get asr a arms that are nicer than full flight but still cheap. As for spacers, especialy in the front it will make your bumpsteer worse and the bars will want to be ripped out of your hands easier,it will also create more leverage against your tie rods and stuff like that, and it will change how your steering is,probably for the worse

i have asr +2+1 and they hold up to a hell of alot abuse. baught them on ebay cheap and a durablue axle thats done good too. all i do is trail ride. the steering really sucks now. how do i fix it? steering stabilizer? or did i set them up wrong had no idea on caster camber and all that.

save your money and do it right, spacers make it harder to turn and you shouldnt jump with them. spacers are hard on ball joints
but if you go longer a-arms then you need different shocks to go with them because stock shocks wont hold up to the leverage
