z400 header help !!!!

z400 header help !!!!

Do you have to take the engine apart to get the header off beause when we rebuilt it was the only time we could get it off???

I believe you need to take the radiator hose that goes to the water pump off and take the muffler off also and it should come off.

I don't have one so couldn't tell ya for a fact but by looking at pics thats what it looks like to me.

z400 header help !!!!

Drain the coolant, remove the radiator hose and thermostat housing and thermostat and it will then come out of there. It does take some moving it around but it will come out of there.

thats how!! if your puting on a aftermarket 1 and dont need the stock 1 cut it in half .
