You frendly local ATV Dealer lies like a snake, his lies are based on what question you ask, he has a different answer for everybody and every question, he lies and tells you what you wanta hear. Like if ur stupid enough to say to ur dealer that you wanta buy products made in the U.S.A. he will lie and tell you brand x atv is made in the U.S., If you go to the same dealer and tell him you want an atv with a Yoshy engine he will lie and tell you thats a Yoshy engine when its not, if you tell him you want a gear drive atv instead of a belt drive he will lie and tell you that belt drive atv is a gear drive, or he will lie and pretend he don't know the difference. What you guys don't understand the dealer will lie with every question you ask him, the right way to do it is use his lies against him, you ask a totally oppisite question to get what you want, example: suppose you wanta buy an atv with a front locker differential and you know for sure what atv has one and don't have one, go to the atv that has no front locker and tell the dealer you really love this atv and you wanta buy it, but I would perfer an atv with a front locker, then the dealer will lie and tell you that atv has an automatic front locker, or he will lie and pretend that he don't know what a front locker is. Bottom Line: What ever ur local atv dealer tells you, don't believe it.

That sure was a lot of typing just to prove that you're probably crazy.

Well I am a proud owner of a 2004 Eiger. It is an excellent machine. I will not part with it.

Now with that said
I went and looked at the new KQ 450. Nice machine. Like the EFI, No choke. Like the IRS. Like the brakes. HOWEVER....For a few bucks more you can get the 700. If you are thinking of the 450, just buy the 700. If they want to really market the 450, they have to come down in price. The Vinson is a nice Quad as well but it really is very different The IRS is the main thing, But that is really quite significant.

Now, in speaking with the Suzuki, Kawi, Yamaha reps (all in one business) he said that the big 3 have gotten together and are sharing technologies. He showed me the 3 700 quads there and they were the same at least in the suspension dept. The rest of the diff is a motor config and plastic.

Don't know the price of the new 07 450 King Quad, no local dealer stocks any yet, but 2 local Suzuki Dealers are selling the new 2007 Suzuki 700 King Quad for $6299, but the Yamaha Dealer is selling the new 2007 Yamaha Grizzly 450 4x4 for $5299 and all Yamaha's and Honda's are always priced higher than Suzuki. Im guessing when the Suzuki 450 King Quad does come out they will be priced at $5099, or $5199

MSRP on the 450 KQ was $5,899, $400 short of the 700 KQ.

As for the "No Choke" statement. when we fired the 700 up (Which is an identical match to the 450) you just hit the key and it fires up. On my Eiger I have to turn the little lever on the handle bar. So I guess when I say "No choke", I mean no little lever on the handle bars that I have to fiddle with.

The beauty of EFI is adjustment to altitude with out tearing a carb apart. I need to investigate how the EFI works in greater detail. I did not see an O2 sensor, but it could be hidden. Without an O2 sensor I am not sure how it accurately corrects for A/F ratio's. I guess it could sensor air into TB but that seems like a bit of a stretch.
