Is anyone out there have the same issue as me? my atv after 2-6 hrs of riding it doesn't want to run. will die when giving it gas, wont start.

 

clean out the jets in the carb and if you have a stock filter get an aftermarket before you cause more harm to your engine...if you clean out the jets you should be fine also try putting it on reserve and make sure you aren't running low on gas

 

thanks but i should gave more detail..It's EFI, it is an 2006 model. it's in the shop for forth time now on the same issue. they don't know the problem. i was told there were more bikes with the same issue.

 

try changing the filter if you ahven't done so already and try cleaning the injector or maybe one of the sensors is throwing off the ecu see if they can run a diagnostic test on it

 

yeh! thats what we thought too.. they have replaced the atmosphere sensor, reajusted throttle position sensor, and put a new ecu on it also hooked up the computer to and still can't tell me anything. kinda funny right? i thank you for your suggestions. the dealership still has it. if you can think of anything else that might help me help them fix please let me know.

 

good news!!! they found out it's the fuel pump. not enough pressure. should be back on the trails soon
