1996 250 quadrunner sat up this summer and now it won't start. checked the fuel lines and plug, all looks good there. the carburetor is dry as a bone, though. it seems like t is not getting any gas. poured gas straight into the carb and it cranked right up until the gas ran out. any ideas on what to try next. pull the carb, maybe???

 

well if you take the fuel line off does gas atleast come out of it...if so then I would have to say that the float in the carb is stuck and will not allow any of the gas from the fuel line to get into the carb...take the bottom of the carb off and make sure that the float isn't stuck and that the jets aren't clogged

 

i would pull and clean the carb
