Default vent lines on eiger?

I just bought a 2006 Eiger 4x4 two weeks ago and I've got a question.

What are the two lines that make their way to the seat opening near the air intake snorkel? The smaller one comes from the engine area and the larger one attaches to the rear brake assembly. Are these vents of some sort and should they be connected to anything under the seat?

Thanks.

Default vent lines on eiger?

I know the 1 that goes toward the engine is! That is the vent line for the carb, it is not to be hooked to anything BUT! do not let anything get in it. If that line would get trash in it your quad would run BAD! That line is known to also kink enrout to the carb if that happens it will also run bad.

The other line I don't have on my 02 but if it is in the same area it could also be a vent. They run the vents there because they are pretty sure you won't submerg them in water. LOL
