I am interested in purchasing a "NEW" quad. The opportunity to test drive a number of quads has presented itself and I have taken full advantage. I have my own opinions based on these rides and I have researched several different forums with regard to the quads tested. I am pretty much strictly a trail rider and the trails which I ride range anywhere from ROUGH to very good.. They include lots of twisty bits, some not so deep water crossings but over all a lot of rocky barren woods roads. Sometimes I ride with a passenger. My previous ride was a '97 Explorer 400. It was powerful enough for me but was a nightmare to maintain. The KQ700 and the TP 700 are two of the machines I have ridden. What are the general opinions in terms of choice between these two ?
