Default HELP! KQ 700!!

Did the timing module or whatever it is come out yet??? .. i know there had been alot of talk about it and how its supposed to give the KQ the power its missing.

The reason i NEED to know this is because, i've been planning on getting an '06 Foreman ES and my dealer has some '06 KQ's for not too much more than the Foremans. But one of the main reasons i never took the KQ seriously was because this mod wasnt out yet.. Thanks.

It's not out yet. It is coming though from VDI.

The Foreman and King Quad are not even in the same league. Even without the ECM, the King will smoke the Honda bad. You're also comparing a straight axle to an IRS suspension. It all comes down to what you want to be able to do with the machine.

Still not out?!?! That thing has "been coming" or "in testing and just about to be released in about a month" for as long as I can remember. It will supposedly fix the lag the reverse over ride and juice the thing up something fierce but I'm doubting if the thing will ever see the light of day. It's vaporware as far as I'm concerned.

Topgun is right though, the Foreman ES isn't in the same class as the KQ. The Rincon might be considered more in line of the KQ class. Some of the new Foreman ES models are available with power steering though as I understand though which is pretty cool. No front lockers on any honda models though which are a severe deficiency if you use them in mud or other types slippery or difficult terrain.
