I'm using a yoshimura pipe , i want to remove the end cap, yeah its going to be louder ,dont care.
what kind of power am i talking a bout here ?1? 2? 3?hp or is it less than that? or is it just louder?

 

im not sure how many horsepower but u will feel the difference i took mines off my dg and there is more throttle response and there is more power go 4 it

 

if you remove the endcap you will have to rejet it. and its very loud

 

like i said i don't care if there more noise, thats why they make ear plugs.
as far a rejeting gos the only issue is ,what happens when i have to have a spark arrester in ? tho all that is,is a piece of screen. right?
i might be a little rich right now .i think, that, tomorrow it gos in for a dyno & AF check.

the endcap on my pipe is the sme i.d as the i.d. of the silencer. How could you gain power? Post a pic so I can see.....

 

I was wrong about the endcap. I wasnt thinking right, I did it to mine about a year ago and it really didnt make any difference in power or sound until I removed all the packing and then it was very loud and needed to be rejetted

 

O ok...I was wonderin...cause I took mine off yesterday jus for the heck of it and nothin...
