A friend of mine wants to trade me his 2003.5 z400 for my 01 drz 400 bike plus $1000. I paid 1500 for the bike and he

said he paid 3000 for the quad and replaced the front bearings(he said the guy he bought it off of was a wheelie nut)

and the clutch in the quad. He also mentioned that the 03 400 had frame issues thats why they made an 03.5. Any input

about the 03.5 part, frame, pricing, and what to look for as far as how hard its been ridin and what not, would be

appreciated. The reason i ask is, this is my first sport quad and im not to hot on them maintenance wise. I currently

own a sportsman 500 and would like to make the jump over to a sport quad and for $2500 i think it might be a good deal. thanks
