The Vinson is better all around than the Quadrunner 500. No contest that the Vinson will out power an Eiger. The choice between the Vinson or Eiger should come down to $$$ and your need for top speed, as the Vinson is basically the Eiger's big brother.

I just bought an 06' Eiger a few months ago and if your looking for speed I would go with the Vinson. The Eiger isn't very fast however I got it because of the price and reliability. I know acouple of people with Eigers and they haven't had any major problems with them so far. They are very simple quads so thats probably why they don't have too many problems. I've ran mine very hard so far and it can definitely take a beating. If I get another Suzuki though it will be a Vinson just because of the power and speed. Well I hope that helps, good luck.

I have an O7 Eiger and i'm pretty pleased with it, lil' low on power for my liking but it will be piped and jetted before long. As far as speed, it's plenty fast enough for me, stock for stock it out ran my buddies 06 foreman 500 S, both on 25' tires, him being about 30lbs heavier than i. But like said before, it's a simple quad, not a lot of stuff can mess up on it.

You could also look at AC, it is the same engine as the Eiger and Vinson but come with a diff lock and IRS. They are not that much more either and have a better warranty, don't get me wrong I love my Eiger but sometimes a diff lock would be handy.

Like was said earlier the vinson is a redesign of the quadmaster 500 and puts out more power has better lighting etc. Both the Eiger and Vinson are tough as nails IMO. When anyone askes me about them I always give them a good name I have several friends who have bought Eigers and they like them of course not as much when I out mud them or out do them in the snow and drag races and one guy I know bought a Vinson he loves it. Both have no problem hauling heavy loads as long as you can get traction they are gonna pull it. Putting better tires is a must its like riding a totally new machine when you change the tires (I guess all quads are like that LOL). That tapping the brake trick works pretty good got me out of more than a few jams. I wonder if the locking diff on the king can be put into a VInson or Eiger? That would be sweet. My buddy runs his eiger like he stole it whatta beating and he hauls heavy loads over the roughest terrain. His father said one time "If I drove my Polaris like he does that Suzuki my bike would be in pieces in a box in the corner of the garage".
Check out the pics in my sig to see some of the stuff I put mine through he does the same with his eiger.
