Dont know how well you ride but it would seem to me that you would need a little more weight to work the stiffer suspension. My son is about your height and weight and I am still leary of moving him up to it just for that reaason. I still have not decided on him yet

i owned a z250 and im 213lbs. but my sister was only like 97lbs, she was standing that sucker up at high speeds (shes a tomboy and the best damn moto-x rider i know). it just depends on your skillz. i started on a suzuki 250r, and i was pretty light. but i have a few scars to show that i wasnt ready. just take it easy until you get used to it.

MOMMY AND DADDY CAN BUY YOU SPEED AND POWER.
BUT IT TAKES TIME AND PRACTICE TO DEVELOP SKILLZ.

bull$hit!!

If the kid isnt stupid, then he could easily take a 250 4stroke

How old are you, 12? you should be able to handle the power,

if you're scared of the power, dont take it into 5th gear

And the stiff suspension? just add wheel spacers, or have your dad or older brother or heavier friend jump it, to get the suspension to sag or soften a bit

hey bud..the ltz250 would be a great machine for you..look we bought our 250 3 years ago ..i was 13 and my little brother was 10 and handled it no problem, now he's 13 and loves it still..as u look below u can see it has some mods ..that doesnt make it crazy fast ..but it a good upgrade..and still reliable .. crazy1291 knows whats he talkin about ..get someone heavyier to jump it ..to work it in..but the z250 would be perfect for you!
