How much faster does a Full YOSHIMURA exhaust for Z400 add??

 

its not so much to do with speed ,it has more to do with power. what are your planes ? rejet?
open air box? maybe you'll get 32-33 hp out of it . if your stock your about 27hp at the rear wheel , the full pipe is well worth it the slip on is a wast of time and money.

06..by the way thanx alot for ur help im planning on buying a used it has the pipe and looks in great condition.

 

great idea ,new is way to expensive and the used will work just as well . the jetting for a 06 is way different than the way I'm set up , your jet numbers will be different than mine, most likely smaller. the best thing to do is find a shop that has a AF meter, it takes away the guess work.there is a place were you can go and see how other people have jetted there Z's .

 

jetting helps a lot...i hatre to admit this but im 13 had a 250ex but im a daredevil and im ready to move up...im kinda a noob in all this upgrade stuff all i really know how to do is ride good..

 

OMG can i get you to leave it stock for a year or two,what i've got scares me ,and im old enough to know better. dont be in such a hurry to grow up. stay young, stay alive ,have fun, and take your time doing it .

jumping from a 250ex to a z400 with full exhaust is like getting off a miniture pony then jumping on a thoroughbred race horse lol
