Default Need Help Choosing LT250 R!!

You will want a 87 or later so you will get a power valve motor

1. Check the frame for cracks at the whisbone and further back
2. Chech the steering stem for slack in the bottom bushing
3. Check the rear axel for play in the axel bearings
4. Check the motor case for cracks or repairs at the output shaft from the chain coming off and hitting the case
5. Check for dripping oil on the case because of overtightening of the case covers
6. Check to make sure the rear shock will still dampen when you jump on it
7. Check for play in the a-arm bearings and the swing arm bearings
8. Check for ease of starting and power of motor, If it will not start cold in about 5 to 10 kicks with the choke on it has carb problems(solveable with $cash) or motor problems(solvable with $$$$cash).
9. Check ball joint slack.
10. Check air filter & Air Box cleanliness.
11. Check sprocket and chain for wear.
12. Check the rear of the swing arm for the (2) adjustment screws being broken off.

I have a electronic copy of a manual and alot of information for tuning for 2-strokes if you will send me you email address I will send you all the info I have.
