Question about z400

Ok I have a 2004 ltz 400 it has a fmf powercore4 pipe on it and I was just wondering if I put a K&N air filter on it will it mess my motor up without a new jet kit in it thanks.

depends.....you can buy k&n replacement filters or you can get better high flow ones....

if you get the preformance one you will need to change your jetting....shouldnt be much though

You might as well jet it. You wont get all the performance out of it if you dont jet it plus mine didnt want to run after i put my k&n in without jetting it.... just my .02
