I've been reading about putting a locker on a Vinson . What is it and what does it do? How much is it? Thanks.

 

a locker is a device that locks the two front wheels together in the differential so the front wheels both get power in 4 wheel drive. Warn makes a good one but i dont know how much they are. i personaly dont like them increase turning effort and putts strain on the parts. If you know how to ride there is now need anyway.

 

They are about $350.00 and the people that have them love them. But like suzukiforever said when you put it in 4x4 the steering will be harder just like any other atv with a locking differential. An extra wheel pulling really makes it easier in the mud.
