Hey guys I currently have a 02' 300ex that I bought last year. Im down at school now and just found a buddy that wants to get rid of his 05' z400 I am a very experienced rider but just dont have the money for really nice bikes but this guy cant afford his payments and wants 2600 dollars for this 05' thats in great shape has a pipe. Is it worth it to sell my 300 and move up or will I not notice that much of a difference between the two.

300ex has a FMF pipe and KN filter thats it

A z400 is a waaaay better bike than the 300ex in ALL areas. If you raced the two against each other, it woud be a slaughter. Well worth trading up and thats a really good price. Let me know if you dont buy it cause I will. I'd sell my z250 in a heartbeat to have another 400.....

 

My good friend, sell your shoes, old socks, anything you can think of that will get you into 05 z-400 for $2800.... Good GOD, I just paid $3500 for an 03 mint 400ex... Tell your buddy to call me, I'll give hime 2900, then sell it for 4000.... Ya, it's a deal...jump leap or swim just get it...Ride safe

 

Count me into the "I'll buy it if you don't" category .......... that is a STEAL for that machine ....

And yes, the z400 will make the 300ex look like it is standing still in the speed department .......

just make sure you give it a good ride before buying it, unless you know the guy real well and trust him, cuz there are some shady ppl in this world and there might be something wrong with it .

 

Yah i know him pretty well basically he is the 2nd owner but never rides it. Bought it from somone that couldnt afford it anymore and needed a qquick sale and told me hed sell it to me for what he bought it for.
