I need to rejet my LT500R 1987. Have new pipes. Does anyone know where I can find the jet or carb kit. I have a stock TM38ss flatside Carb

i ride a lt250r with the 500r carb and i got my jets at the local dealer for 3 bucks ea. if you have a hard time finding them in your area i can mail you some, i don't know if you'll find an actual jet kit though. i think jetting should be fine tuned for each bike anyways. i've got #400 - 470 jets though and dunno what you'll want. probably about #440 - 480?? also try rocky mountain atv/mc, they don't have the jets on their website (www.rockymountainatv.com) but the number is 1-800-336-5437!! they're located in utah but i'd give them a call, they're pretty reasonable. i'm getting the dial a jet though from rocky mountain for this weekend, i can let you know how that works out too and if it works out good i'll mail you all my jets for free

I really appreciate it and will reimburse your mailing costs. Thanks again. This year wil be the first I am going to Dumont Dunes. I would like to go to Utah or Idaho if I can talk my parents into it. Sounds like I am a kid but I am 40. My mom is 62 and rides a 2007 350 raptor and my dad rides a 650DS Bombardier, that is when they are not playing in the sand with the buddy which is a hi-jumper frame (not long travel) with a JCS 1975 motor with turbo. Fun Stuff! they have been to Sand Mountain and going to Dumont since 1984. Thanks again

yeah sand mountain is pretty cool, especially when there are some hill shooters out. i haven't been any where else but little sahara UT but a lot of my friends go to saint anthony so i'll be checkin that out this year. if you talk your parents into it you should let me know and maybe we can hook up down there. i'm only 22 but my parents are 40 and honestly age don't mean a whole lot, i just enjoy to ride. i ride the 91 lt 250r, my dad rides an 03 banshee, my mom just putts around on her honda, then most of my friends are on banshees and one honda 250r. i'll let you know when i get those mailed out...
