Back 40 when it is time to change my oil in the Eiger I am going with your advice I am going to use the Rotella synthetic.. Amsoil is tough to get around here. The place I used to get it from just shut down.. I will probably just run Harley oil again in the bike

Walmart carries Amsoil up here. I use Amsoil also because its a full synthetic oil and is even made for wet clutches. Read a article that said synthetic blend only have 20% synthetic and 80% dinosaur and most OEM oil are blends .

If you really want to know how a particular oil is behaving in your machines, you may want to spend $22.50 on a UOA. I did for my Tacoma just to see the numbers. Piece of mind is a wonderful thang!

i know i'll be using Suzuki oil (or what ever brand the dealer sells) due to the 18mo warranty. they said i could do my own oil changes ect...... as long as i keep a recipt of when they were done, i'll still be covered. and they said it has to be done w/ Susuki recomended oils/filter ect...

when the day comes though what does AMZOIL provide over an OEM oil change? longer intervals between changes? i'm just wondering.

good info though!
