Hi, i have a 2004 suzuki ltz 400 i have had it for about a year and a half and i noticed a noise in the rear of the quad it only occures when the quad is not moving and you straddle it from the left to right i think its the rear berrings, do any of you know what this noise could be?????? it sounds like the rear berrings are shot. all posts will be greatly appreciatted =]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]] thanks MARK

 

It's the swingarm pivot bearings. And while you have it torn apart, replace the axle carrier bearings too.

 

ditto that. repair it before it does more damage. I almost lost my carrier because of the same thing
