hi, my dad's friend told him that suzuki is coming out with a z250r version of the z250. if he is right, all i know is that its like the body of a z400 with a 250 engine and its like wider and sportier and stuff. if anybody else has heard of this could you tell me because i would like to compare it to mine. i'm big for my age (13) so its not like i'm going to want to get it, i'd rather just save up money to buy a 450 in 3 or 4 years. but i just think its cool. let me kno if i'm right thanks

 

That would be a good idea.

The Z250 is a great entry level bike. (Better than the Honda 250EX lots of people seem to say)...

A Z250R? That sounds interesting indeed.

Actually, it's based off the 450, not the Z400 like I thought my friend said. There is a picture of it in the June/July 07 Quad magazine.

i saw the pic in the magazine and it looks exactly like the r450, but they dont know if its going to be the same size or something like 3/4 scale. it IS going to be a 2008 model they say. from the pic i could tell its chain drive and does look like front shocks might be bigger. it was just 1 side view so there wasnt alot to see. they said they think it might be fuel enjected too. if only i was born a few years later [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]
