Spark arestors in exhausts.

Hi im just curious what happens if you take the spark arrestor out of the exhaust, im sorry if its a stupid question but just want to know [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I have a silencer on the end of my DG exhaust and I remove the spak arrestor all the time when not needed.
I think the bike runs better without it it's just some places you have to have one for thier laws.
take it off and run it a while,

It does allow the exhaust to flow a little better. At risk of starting a fire. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
You do not want to get caught by the DNR without that in. Some places it's a hefty fine, as well as impounding the quad.
You're better off getting a good pipe and leaving the arrestor in.

if you do take it off it will backfire and its aginst the law. also makes machine have more power.
