Default Putting winch on Eiger

Put the new winch on Friday on my 07 Eiger. Hadn't had one previously. Took about 1 1/2 hours. Suzuki sure made that an easy install. Wires already run and holes in the storage box for the contactor. Only wire I had to run was from the battery to the contactor. And there was even room under the battery holddown to roll up the wire and store the extra there instead of under the plastics.

I don't know if every other brand comes pre-wired like the Suzuki Eiger, but they should if they don't.

The only thing that happened to me was one of my zip ties snapped and my Red wire to the battery melted to my exhaust. I couldn't see it till I ran my hand down every wire to see what the problem was. But I have to agree it was an easy install.

Ran my battery wires out the left side of the battery area. Already a small rectangular hole in the plastic. Keeps the wire on the side away from the exhaust. Wire tied to the frame then straight down to the contactor on the back of the storage compartment.
