Default 2003 Eiger "wwhhrrring" noise ??

Im new to ATVs... I purchased a used 2003 Eiger 4x4 auto with 1000 miles on it recently. I have only about 20 miles on it so far... Im curious about a noise it makes at pretty much all speeds/throttle positions.. Its hard to explain a sound, but its a wwhrrrring type of sound at all speeds and rpms (except at idle). Its sounds like its coming from the front half of the engine area...
Is this sound normal? Anybody else have this sound on their Eigers? Im not real concerned about it, just mostly curiosity...

Oh, and what is the recommended tire pressure to be running this thing at? It says to check the users manual, but I dont have it..

Thanks for your help..

Can't help with the noise. Unless you have it in low gear on an automatic trans, then that is normal.

The tire pressure is between 4 and 5 lbs. I know it would seem to be flat at that poundage but that is the way the tires are designed to run. Better traction over rough terrain.

The noise happens in Neutral, as well as when in Low, High or Reverse. Im thinking its an air intake related noise? I guess Ill tear it down a little bit to see if I can isolate it.. The sound is not there when at idle, but its soon follows the throttle..

It is probably just your belt drive. Does it make more noise when you let of the gas at high speeds and just coast. If it is making about the same noise all the time you might need a new belt.

Yeah, I think it's the belt, also. I've noticed that the autos make a "whirring" noise that the manuals don't.
