Default cooling fan not working

I have a 2007 Eiger 400 4x4 Semi-Auto its got about 40 miles on it, not more then 2 weeks old out of the crate. I was riding today and noticed my cooling fan was not comming on. I thought maybe it wasnt getting hot enough due to the fact I had been going through water that was kinda deep.(up to the seat) So i set and let it idle for about 10 minutes and it still didnt come on. So i took it back to my truck which was about a mile away and it still didnt come on thats when i figured something is wrong. Anybody got any ideas about the eiger fan? The last time I rode it a few days ago it was working . Thanks for any help guys later.

well i checked all the fuses and they are all good. There is a clear rubber tube that comes from the fan and goes back by the seat is it suppose to hook to something or just hang there. It looks like a drain hose.

The fan was coming on pretty normal considering its hot out it would come on about every 5 or 10 minutes stay on for about a minute and then shut off.

I have an 06' Eiger and my fan just quit working too. I haven't figured out why yet, but i'm thinking it might be the relay. I'm probably going to change it soon so I will let you know if it works after that, I hoping its just the relay and not the fan(pretty big price difference)

you didnt by chance take it through about 3 feet of water before it quit working did you. Because im thinking thats what got mine. do you know if the fan is water proof?

Check the cooling fan switch and make sure both wires are still connected. Squirrels chewed thru mine and I didn't realize it until the engine overheated light came on.

I did go through pretty deep water with mine the same weekend that it quit working, but I would think the fan would be sealed so that you can go through water.

Sometimes when you hit real deep water with the fan running it blows a fuse.
As for sealed, my 03 Vinson fan spends more time under water than above and still works.
