Has anyone done the athena on their z400? How much difference did it make? Do you do other mods at once? I just ordered a kit and I have alot of mods done already, just wonderin if it was a good difference. I have web cams, 450r carb, no air box, ported head etc. What kind of hp numbers are you getting? thanks

 

NEVERMIND. I appreciate all the responses I received. I got it running and i know the difference. I don't ever want to hear that a modded z400 cant beat a modded banshee, 450rs, yfz, and raptors. i was on 7 paddle regular haulers and everyone I raced had 8 paddle or btter. I would not race anyone that did not have good tires cause I did not want any excuses. I raced two banshees that were piped, reeds, jetted, no air box and extended swingers. beat em both. Beat several modded yfzs that had motor work. 2 raptors, don't know what they had. If a 450r wasnt stretched, lowered and motor work, he could not outrun me. Raced a fully built drag 400ex, he prolly had a 8"-10" longer swinger, and lord knows what done to it, the bike was really nice. You could tell by looking at it the fellow had spent alot on time and money on it. Beat him pretty bad. So yes to all the z400/kfx400 is very capable at making power. Don't ever let someone tell you go buy a 450 this or that. You should see the look on their face when they get beat by a 400. also, my buddy has a new kfx450r that he has been talkin crap to me about. It is complety stock. He is a beeter rider than me, and he was on 10 paddle extreme hauler triple buffs. I smoked him by at least 10 bikes. I tried to race him again, but he avoided me. LOL...I told him I was gonna spank him.
