EFI Failure Rate
#1
OK Guys, the Suzuki EFI has been promoted as the new way to operate ATVs - and I'm buying into it...BUT...
Does anyone know what the failure rate is on these electronic modules?
Are they expensive to replace?
Are they easy to replace?
Bottom Line... Is it worth buying a spare EFI module to carry as a spare?
... It can be a long walk home...

EFI has been around in automotive long enough to have it nearly perfected. The main system design is the same in the ATVs as it is has always been..... It has a track record at this point that probably equals or surpasses what the carbs did.......

you dont need to carry a spare at all. i have a 700r raptor and some people wrap it in plastic that ride in very muddy areas. have not herd any malfuctions. btw i dont know if it just for the raptor but this company can bazazz is coming out with a new controler that is suppose to be the ****. its going to be a closed loop controler which is suppose to be way better. but if you can wait get the power commander 3. it should not cost you more than 300 but more like 250 if you look around.
