K&N or Foam Filter? For EFI King Quad.
#2
I am no expert, so I asked my local dealer about the paper filter problem.
He said that they work OK but if you drive a lot of dusty trails you have to watch them and change as required. Local cost is about $20.00 ea.
IF you want the foam filter it is about $100.00 BUT you have to watch it too and maintain the filter / oil. (blow out the foam and change the oil regularly)
It was his opinion that routine maintenance is the key. Other than that he was willing to sell me either filter.

i think the paper would be fine i have a polaris that has a paper you can take it out and blow it out witha air hose the advanteg to the foam filter with the oil on it
i think is incase it gets wet. I know "uni filter makes a filter to fit your machine ..alot cheaper then k&n i have been told that k&n can let a litle bit of dirt in.

I went to the suzuki update school and they said to get the UNI air filter, I am not a fan of the K&N's. I have rebuilt endless fourwheelers that hade K&N's installed they even say on there websit that there's starts to loose dirty blocky properties after 10 cleanings.
