Is there a way to put reverse override rev limiter on my 2006 suzuki vinson? Need some help.

 

I dont know the answer to your question but why would you want to?
Most people want to do away with them.

I may have read his question wrong, but I read it as to say he wants to add a rev limiter in reverse.
My '06 Vinson dosent have one and I can wind the engine out tight in reverse.

 

He probably has the auto tranny. You dont need to override the reverse on a manual shift.

 

yeah man i have an auto and when i get stuck sometimes that limiter kinda hinders me gette unstuck lol

OK My bad. I misread your post.
I just knew my manual has full power in reverse..No limiter.

 

hey guys, my friend, WJVINSON, started this thread and we tried to do the reverse override mod on the link above, but could not get it to work. any other ideas on how to bypass the reverse limiter? either with a push button or switch to turn the limiter completely on and off? thanks PB500

 

Those instructions are all I know of for the override. You may try to contact the guy that wrote them and ask for direction. If you move your mouse pointer over "let me know" at the bottom of his page its a link to ask him questions. Good luck.
